Missions/Quests Completed
The Investigation of the Missing Tower
- characters falsely believe the tower was carried off by giant creatures (see locating the tower below)
- Discover the secret of Luna and her relationship with the missing wizard Mortimer
- after a little hiccup about supplies the characters make their way North East following the track that presumably belonged to those who carried off the tower
- the journey is relatively uneventful with the characters spotting a unicorn off in the distance (a rare occurrence)
- trying to parley the unicorn bolts - the characters decide to carry on with their quest
- to the characters surprise the tower wasn't carried off but is itself mobile travelling on sturdy legs
- they track it down to a hilly area where a drakken (winged dragon men) and two suits of amor apparently controlled by air elemental type creatures are carrying sacks of gold from a burrow towards the tower
- fight insues with the Drakken muttering concerns about how the PCs are after the "hoard"
- taking some damage the PCs are victorious
- characters decide to try a two prong approach - enter via front door and the roof
- a sepia snake sigil and explosive runes are set off
- as the characters make their way through the tower - the appearance of normal wizards abode is quickly dispelled
- the tower can apparently reconfigure itself (did so once to try and crush the players and used this ability several times to create traps)
- characters also encounter an animated bearskin rug - with the moniker of Khellek embroidered - this moniker was also on the animated rug from the assassin in Barlox
- Bjorn - Will's character can confirm that his mentor Khellek does sell consturcts created from hides of creatures
- the characters eventually meet in the middle of the tower
- as the character convene a voice from the roof bellows down demanding that the characters leave
- after an unsuccessful parley the PCs begin to make their way to the top of the tower to encounter whatever is up there
- the new session begins

Chaos Mechanic
- gotta say love this mechanic
- this is where you roll a d20 and add the chaos factor to see if anything happens in the background (good or bad)
- triggered twice during last session
- one result was something they will end up being beneficial to the PCs (let ya know when you encounter it)
- the other result was something from the burrows decided to find out what was taking the Drakke so long
