Looking forward to Friday. You have arrived at the base of Falcons Peak. Intimidated by the size of the structure you've decided to approach via a visible cave entrance on the peaks side. MISSIING AXEBEAK Richard - must make 6 successful Wilderness survival checks (DC 25) before having 3 failures to track down the runaway Axebeak
Still on a high from the adventure and Neverland and the disconcerting discovery of slavers in the domain of Greyhawk, our heroes are about to go through the rites of adulthood in Helix. ROLEPLAY MOMENT: you don't have to come up with a big write up but I would like you to think about some things for the beginning of next session: 1. One good moment in your characters life that has helped shape you into adulthood 2. One bad moment in your characters life that has helped shape you into adulthood 3. Pick at least one NPC who catches your eye as you are presented with the sash of adulthood and reminisce about an interaction with them. Also for Brad and Wil. What have your characters been doing? Hopefully I'll have a session report done by Friday for those who missed out.
After the PCs recuperate in the Lost Boys "Home Underground" they begin to prepare their assault on the Jolly Roger versus Cpt. Hook and his crew.
"I don't know if Peter would like us showing you the hideout. What do you think, Nibs?" "Yeah, don't think Peter would like that at all, Toodles." Despite their apprehension the two Lost Boys were more than willing to share some details which help, make a little more sense of this "Neverland" During the parley, one of the party of adventurers let it slip of the pirate cache they had found. "So you found the caves?" Toodles querried automatically followed up by Nibs "Yeah how were the caves?" The players somewhat dumbstruck, were told that the pirate build hideaways for when their bodies revert to skeleton a dawn. They're always caves and are usually concealed by brush. They must have missed it. "The only thing better than messing with pirates is taking their booty" "Yeah taking their booty!" Toodles followed-up. "I bet ya, if you had some booty Peter might be willing to show you the hideout himself. Tell you what we'll go ask him while you secure the treasure." "Yeah we'll tell him, put a good word in" And with that the two Lost Boys take their leave along with all but one of the Piskies, which seems to have taken a shine to the newest visitors to the island.
The PCs have decided to make their way to Neverland, but first they must sneak into their homes to get supplies.
As your cart pulls into the town square of Helix, from your perch you can make out your childhood friends. Their beaming smiles, a testiment to the bond you made as a child. Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne?
