Black Winds Report

General Summary

Starting from Woodhurst, the party made plans to set out with Dimitri and Sylvain to meet up with Gilbert at Conand Tower, where it was likely that Miklan and his band of thieves were hiding out. They made their way in after figuring out how to open the door. (Door knocker missing its knocker.) On the inside of the tower were many candles that lit up different colors and the other side had a mural that dipicted which order the candles needed to be placed in. After climbing the tower, the party ran into some of the thieves and quickly took care of them and then decided to hide out in Vi's tiny hut in the tower. When the spell ended, they were surrounded by enemies that were left in the tower, Miklan included. They managed to take Mikaln down, but just before anyone could take the final blow, the Lance of Ruin that he held, emitted black tendrils that wrapped Miklan up and encased him in a black shroud. He screamed as he was transformed into a big black beast who then attacked the party. It was a hard battle, but the party defeated him and collected the lance of ruin and headed back to the monastery.
