Session 10: The search Begins. Report
General Summary
Stardate sixday, 069 1106 3I CSS Rising Shadow has landed on the planet of Paal with no real intel on the ship. There sensors picked up a trace of the ship that was two weeks old and showed it some place in the capital city of Zero on the continent of Verdanita. The culture of this city is quite interesting as it seems to be living in the late 50's. The low port has five other starships along with several flyers with props. The low port seems to be winding down for the evening as last minutes flights are trying to get off the ground bound for other cities on the continent. The citizens of the low port seem to be getting ready to shut down for the evening as well. Captain Magmarnar holds a meeting in the crews common area as they discuss the plans for looking for the ship. Oswald is going to stay behind and make sure the ship is all right after the rough landing by the new pilot Khaara Tiyalen. Vitruvius Galen, Cankili Vallana, and Ferris visit the Port Authorities. Then they went to police department. The Port Authorities told them the ship landed at the low port two weeks ago. Then the ship took of in the middle of the night and dissapeared some place over the dock district. Then the subject of the missing refined fuel came up. Vitruvius started asking questions and found out that the ground crew was at the police station being questioned. 300,000 tons of refined fuel somehow dissapeared without a trace. Captain Birdlerher, Conan, and Rudolf took a cab to the Rusty Wrench a popular bar in the dock district. The bar had 15 patrons at the time of their arrival. Going to the jukebox they put some credits in the machine and started some music. Then they went to bar and talked to the bartender named wrench. They found out the captain of the Whispering Shadow is someone named Leila who has a scar on her face now from a double cross. She is a red head and likes to wear things that are red. They also learn of a gentlemen name Pete who claims he saw a UFO two weeks ago. The shape of UFO was a triangle. After spending some credits on a couple of bottles of JD they learned that Pete saw the UFO in the warehouse of the area of the dock district. He told them that he worked in warehouse 2 at the north end of the warehouse. He said he did see some fuel trucks come to the gate the night before and were allowed to come in with no questions asked. The trucks were unmarked trucks. The crew also learned that this city shuts down for the most part on Senday and that is when he saw the UFO. Vitruvius, Cankili, and Ferris went to the police station were they met a lieutenant Buford T Pussor who was the lead detective in the investigation of the missing refined fuel. this is the second time in six months that refined fuel had been stolen. They also learned the that Whispering Shadow may have been involved in drug running and spice running in several system. The port authority is also looking into several allegations as well. Vitruvius and Cankili were able to get permission to interrogate the ground crew that was on duty when the refined fuel dissapeared. They were able to get a name of a grounds crew member who was missing the night that the fuel went missing. An APB was put out for Tera Voss. They contacted the Port Authorities and got her address listed on her application. Then they went to the address to find out that the house belonged to a family by the name of Kardashians. They did not have a clue who this Tera Voss was except some peon refueler that refueled there Yacht. Then the crew returned to the Low Port where they ran into a older gentlemen by the name of Varro Tigurius who offered tea to the crew and began asking questions about an artifact called the apple of Eden. He asked if they believed in the existence of ancient artifacts. He tells the crew that his friend Mephiston would pay well for any information on the Apple of Eden who gave a 100 Cr bill to Conan for the information that he gathered at the Rusty Wrench.
