Session 6-9—Sailing down the Serpent Report

General Summary

Summarised Report for sessions 6 to 9:   Session6 — Strakh took Torsell to the Temple of the Keepers to help cure his ghoul fever, contracted after fighting the ghouls in the mine. Meanwhile, the rest of the party spoke to the council of Brightrock and received rewards for their efforts and asked to travel to Deadwood to procure outstanding lumber shipments.   Session 7 — The morning after Torsell was cured of Ghoul fever, the party met with the Gnoll Kar and his two Ogre companions Throgg and Grumthar. They began their journey down the Serpentrock river. Vivi read the fortunes of the party and at night, Kar encouraged drinking and sharing of personal life events. Belladonna became incensed at Vivi's flippant answer and storms off. Vivi confronts Belladonna and reveals to the player that Belladonna is Vivi's children trapped in a Poppet.   Sesion 8 — Kar, hungover from the night before nearly piloted the boat into rapids and caused Throgg to fall overboard before recovering. The party arrived halfway on their journey at a trading post for the subterranean settlement of Sprocket, calling the traders to visit them.   Session 9 — The Sprocket traders show up to witness the end of a sparring match between Torsell and Nora which Nora won. One of the Gnomes, Felix, invited the party to a 'Tinker Off' festival in 2 months time. At the end of the days travels, Torsell has a nightmare when a compatriot fell into the water and upon following, was confronted by the entity within attempting to bind him. Strakh saw the conflict as Torsell slept and tapped into unknown powers to draw Torsell to safety. Vivi was held back from interferring by her patron.
