Achievement contacted the party, wanting them to find a sceptre that had just been stolen from the museum
The party investigated the museum and found the glass holding the sceptre broken which had traces of blood on it, along with a scrap of red material and a broken lockpick. They talked to the night guards at the museum who had been 'hold person-ed' so were unable to witness what happened. The janitor Guss drew suspicion but they ended up agreeing it wasn't him
The party spoke to a number of the members from the council who proposed different theories. Leah told them the sceptre belonged to the founder of Prith and had connections to the first elven queen. Erdon Vaughnt suggested it might be ghosts. Andrasta suggested it might be an angry elf, seeing as the sceptre was also significant elven history. Lucan suggested this was one of a string of thefts that had been happening. Owen suggested talking to Lynn at The Hippogriff as she had an artefact also go missing.
The party them investigated the thieves guild, and met the thief Jammy. He was in the process of stealing from The Hippogriff when 3 cloaked figures, one half-sized, teleported in. Jammy hid and was able to watch them steal the golden hippogriff statue and lockpick their way out of the building.
The party were evetually led to a magic guild where they were able to get in contact with Ludo, a man who duelled the sorcerer Rider, a halfling. Ludo was able to inform the party that he was good friends with Lucan the councilman and Claira, a half-elf woman who was a monk from a distant monastery.
The party were able to find Lucan's hideout and confronted the three of them. Lucan and co. ended up winning the battle, but gave the party the sceptre out of pity before teleporting away.
The party returned the sceptre to Achievement who rewarded them by giving them the title of heroes of Prith
