Upon returning to Ivor the party are rewarded with gold
Ander and Dimitri continue to have dreams of Raymond and Lei respectively. They don't seem to be going awsy
Ivor explains to the party why it was important they did that assassination quickly: The Grand Captain of the guard from Hedgefort was visiting and at this stage Ivor was in the position to get promoted
Ivor tasked the party with getting rid of Vaughnt in the middle of the night. He warns them of two personal body guards, a handful of servants and guards and Achievement, Assistant mayor and assistant to the mayor. Ivor explained that Achievement had been briefed on what was happening and would not help them, but would similarly not hinder them
The party conscript Lei for the job, as an expert in invisibility.
The heist goes reasonably well to begin with however things take a turn for the worse once Dimitri stabbed Vaughnt. As he turned visible the party had to flee
They were unfortunately caught and ended up fighting everyone on the property. Dimitri went down but Lei was helping from the sidelines
After defeating everyone the party decided they may as well freely investigate her whole house
They come across papers that prove she was stealing money from Achievement's paycheck
The party run into Achievement who had clearly just woken up. She warned them not to involve her and went back to bed
The party stumble into a locked bedroom. In there they find a changeling, chained and bound to the walls, along with test tubes of developing changelings and papers revealing Gerhart's plan to replace the town population with changelings. This explains why the town was slowly being killed off
The party take care of the mal-formed changeling bodies but take mercy on the changeling woman, freeing her
She is unbale to communicate beyond small movements but Lei takes her back to her home
