On the way towards Magecrest the party met Jill, mayor of Cloverhill, who wanted the party to help with an imminent orc attack
The party managed to diplomatically sort the conflict out
Upon arriving in Magecrest the party seek out Erdan, Ander's younger brother
They end up speaking to Falin, Ander's father, who tells them to join him for dinner, which Erdan will join
Erdan never shows up at dinner and Ander and Falin have a dispute
Ander doesn't have an arm at this stage and Falin asks him about it
Falin calls guards in to get Ander arrested
Ander takes his shirt off to show his father his burn scars. When he does this Falin calls the guards off
He says he will deal with consequences for Varis once the celebration is over
The party learn where Erdan's workshop is and decide to visit the next day
Falin also tells Ander that his sister Andraste wants to see him
They go and see Erdan, who is very pleases to see Ander, although was upset that Ander left without saying goodbye
Ander requests that Erdan make him a new arm, and he agrees to do it for free although specifies it will cost him to get it repaired or improved
Erdan explains that he has been working on creating a forged man, although he is a long way off
Erdan also agrees to take a look at the snapper and see if he can do anything to recreate it
The party next head to the library, where they get help from a student in researching the old world, and Adran in translating the books they took from The Lost City
The student finds out that there is a myth that the old world was driven to extinction and that the current world is built on the ruins of that
Adran translates Carlos' diary, finding out he had a wife and daughter
He also found out that the city they were in was dedicated to Dearil
There had been an increasing number of natural disasters, which Carlos theorised was due to the god of destruction
Adran was also able to find out that there used to be 10 gods, the tenth being the god of destruction, called Morhan
Morhan was considered evil
Chaos Bolt (a spell the party all have access to through their marks) was a spell granted to clerics by Morhan
Adran came bearing the news that while visiting his hometown Raymond came into a large amount of power, allowing him to manipulate water
Adran theorises that each marked has a connection to one of the gods, with Pothos being connected to Slaine, Dimitri being connected to Dearil and Raymond seemingly being connected to Njord
The party visit Andraste, who is acting as headmistress of The Magecrest Magic Institution
She wants one favour from Ander
She wants him to apologise for not telling her he was leaving
She agrees to keep a look out for any marked at her school
In the night Ander and Dimitri dream of Raymond and Lei, as always.
Pothos dreams of an eagle perched on a thatched cottage roof turning into an elven woman with red hair
The party advertise for the marked to meet them at the tavern
Ander waits while the other two search for the elven woman
They find her, she's a druid called Hastae, who agrees reluctantly to come with them
Ander meets Ekk, an orcish pirate woman, and Lilith, a tiefling blacksmith, who have both been marked.
As Dimitri and Pothos return to the tavern a group of cultists arrive
They successfully kill Lilith and Ekk, and teleport away, saying 'two is enough'
The party head back to Andraste to see if the final marked was at the school
They meet the man with the final mark, who, when asked to return with them to Oldden seems hesitant
He admits he left his wife and child and doesn't want to see them
It turns out his wife was Lila
The party immediately contact Lila, who was very upset, and Adran, who almost outright tried to kill him
