Session 5: New Marks

General Summary

• Adran explains to the party that he is expecting new marks to appear onto people. It will be in Hobluff one week from now. He wants the party to go track them down
• Since Lila is getting weaker they have been sent via Brightcrest, a city known for it's magical healing, to see if something can get done for her
• Lila, although upset about Prick's arm, is overall thankful to the party for helping to get him out of the gang
• The party drop Prick and Lila off in Brightcrest with no problems
• They have a very easy combat encounter with goblins on the roads
• The first night in Hobluff they sleep in an inn where they all have unusual dreams
• Pothos dreams of an old woman, surrounded by family
• Ander dreams of a monk surrounded by other monks
• Dimitri dreams of a pure white faced woman, seemingly at the same pub they are in
• When they wake up, Dimitri rushes downstairs and comes across a woman with the mark over her eye, the bard who had been performing the night before
• She takes him outside and asks what he and his party did, mistakenly mbelieving it was their fault she had the mark
• It was revealed that the woman, Lei, was the same woman who they saw with the Crystal Serpents. She is also a changeling who is unable to cover the new mark
• She agrees to travel to Oldden with them for her safety
• While on the search for the remaining 3 people with marks the party end up on a pier and come across a monk with torn robes sitting sadly
• They talk to him and realise it's the same monk from Ander's dream. After the mark appeared on his skin he was cast out from his church. He tells them his name is Raymond. He also agrees to head north with them
• Since the marks cause a lot of pain when appearing the party decide to investigate the hospital. They come across the old woman - called Gloria - from Pothos' dream. She refuses to come with them as she recognises she is dying regardless of her mark and doesn't want to leave her home.
• A local woman catches wind that the party are looking for people who are marked and reveals that her father got a mark and then went missing. The party agree to help find him
