Session 20: Introductions & Curiousities Report

The party visited the Temple of the Sovereign and confirmed with the head priestess that the Halfling was safe and resting. Afterwards, using Water Breathing Kai taught Esi how to swim then they and the rest of the party collected coins at the bottom of the Floating Market.   They then visited Mercurio's Curiousities to purchase magic items and inquire about personal goals. Mercurio offered access to his rarer wares in exchange for assisting him. He had hired a botanist to find a plant called Shimmerweed, and they hadn't returned for many days. Agreeing to assist, the party traveled along the lakeshore to the east and found Doreah relaxing by the water.   Following Doreah down into a cave, the party came across strange fish skeletons in pearlescent armor wielding tridents, and an ominous bust of a Sahagin priest. Kai struck it with magic, breaking off the arm before the skeletons rose from the dead and attacked. After a harrowing battle, the party fled the cave and escaped to the surface.
