Session 16: The Showdown Report

General Summary

10th Olarune

The party bunkered down in one of the dormitory rooms in the Omega Research Facility and attempted to wait out the day, and rest for the night. During the evening, the Displacer Tyrant stalked around the building before breaking in via the front door.   The party prepared for battle and the Tyrant attempted to ambush them. A few well-placed attacks, and great strength from Dhok, led to the beast fleeing before being cut down. Esi harvested the beast for its hide and claws.   Searching the rest of the facility, the party found encrypted research notes and a magical whip and a rod capable of blasting sonic energy in a cone in the top floor. On the ground floor, the party found the abandoned holding pens with signs of creatures who had failed to escape. Incensed by the cruetly, the party detonated the Arcane Energy Generator which caused a chain reaction, toppling the facility.  

12th Olarune

After an exhausted journey back to the Pixie, the party awoke refreshed and energized to the sounds of voices in the tavern below.
