Returning to Mercurio's with Doreah after collecting the Shimmerweed, the party traded the Twin-Barbed Scourger (found at the Omega Research Facility) and 200gp for 2 Flying Brooms, an Immovable Rod, and a Robe of Useful Items.   Dhok agreed to be Mercurio's apprentice and brand any artifacted items in exchange for knowledge and resources. Mercurio also questioned Esi about her relationship with Caderyn, urged caution, and offered protection in exchange for further work from the party.

The party rested for the night before Kai walked the docks looking for information about the Viper coin she had found. A suspicious figure who had been watching her revealed it was a token of entry into the Vipers who operated outside the city. Zora'kas spoke to guards who suggested they talk to the Mayor, Malachai or Contessa the Warden.
