Session 3: Dragon Hatchery Report

General Summary

We rejoin half of our heros escorting the prisoners to the Dragon Cave.   Wilbo is able to sus out a few details from his 'fellow' cultists. The Dragon Cave is being ran by F. Mondath and wizards have begun showing up seeking something within the cave.   Hooves and Martha also attempt to sus out details but fail miserably and are now getting the stink eye from the other cultist.   Once the caravan reaches the cave entrance, the prisoners are offloaded. At the same time the other half of the merry band of fools attempt to approach with stealth. This fails misserabl and Lil, Cher and Deo rush the caravan!   Choas erupts as the cultests turn to face the foes emerging from the bushes. With there attention deverted Wilbo, Hooves and Martha take the opportunity to crush a few cultest, revailing that they are no friends of theirs.   Suddenly a naked man emerges from the wagon, swinging his sword (not that one!) wildly. The kobolds dont know if they shoudl run, attack or offer the naked man some clothes.   Between screaming fools darting from the bushes, 3 of their fellow cultist turning on them and a crazy naked man thrusting his sword (NOT THAT ONE!) the kobolds are slaughtered in a sea of mass confusion.   Leosin thanks us for our help and leads the towns folk back to Greenest, leaving the cave to our adventures, in true NPC bullshit fashion.   Wilbo easily picks the lock of a chest in the wagon. Horseshoes of speed, armor for our naked warior and a pan of gluten free brownies are found.   Turning our attention to the cave, Wilbo and Cher sneek in to investigate. After disarming a trap door they spy a few kobolds scattered throughout in small groups.   After a brief discussion its decided we will shoot at a group of kobolds. Martha slings Ray of Sickness and half the party runs into the dungeons first room/closet.   Wilbo jumps into the shadows and waits for two kobolds to walk by, both are capped, beacuase Wilbo has the skillz to pay the billz.   Meanwhile the others detroy a few sad Kobolds there were trying to sleep in the first room.   Martha waves and Wilbo and say yells "GREAT JOB!", revealing his location in the shadows. Wilbo is abruption curb stompped by near by Kobolds.   Hooves and a clothed TPain rush in and keep Wilbo from certain death, killing the two Kobolds.   Hooves feeling himself after saving Wilbo, rushes the stairs ahead of him and springs a trap, releasing a Black Pudding upon the team. Marttha has great success lighting it on fire while Cher attacks and splits it into multiple!!   After defeating the Black Pudding we smash down the door infront of us and after some searching, we find a trap door under a bear skin rug.   We are confonted with a set of Tiamat statues, each with a set of jems and levers. We sus out that we must have to orient them in a certain way. Having studied Tiamat at great length and reviewed and memorized all matierals the team steps up and takes a giant ass guess at the order.....   and we were WRONG! Wilbo pulls the lever and is imediately set ablaze. After hours of stratagizing we fianly realize the order of them coristponds to the order of heads on Tiamat and we successfully inut the order. The floor gives way like an elevator and we are imediately dropped into the heart of the cave.   we are confronted with Tiamat in all her glorr! THATS ONE BIG BITCH!   From Here the DM finished the session report because the players all shit themselves.   Mondath takes the Dragon mask and drinks a potion of flying. She easily flies away because the players can't shoot shit. As a result of Mondath taking the Dragon Mask the pressence of Tiamat disapears.   The Deo being a Paladin and assuming wizards are weak ran straight for the wizard. Wilbo gave him cover. Deo did some Paladin stuff like turn dead but ultimatly the Wizard destroyed him with a barrage of magic missles knocking him out cold. As Deo falls limp you can here him cry "....but my AC is so high ...".   The Half Dragon Langdedrosa see's T-Pain the Greenest "Champion". Feeling bad he probably embarrassed T-Pain last time by kicking his ass he decides to give T-Pain a second chance. He challenges T-Pain to one on one combat. Instead of being a man and challenging the Half-Dragon T-Pain decides he is much too much of a little bitch to fight Langdedrosa alone. So Hooves, Lilifern, Cher, Martha, all gang up on Langdedrosa. By working five to one the players were barely able to defeat the half-dragon in 'unsportsman-like' combat.   Wilbo helps Deo back to his feat and the two of them beat up an old man (The Red Wizard of Thay).   The party then murders all the remaining Kolbolds who were only there for a paycheck.   The players then proceed to rob the dead Kobolds of their possessions denying the kobolds families of anything to remmber thier dead loved ones by. The players then notice an unhatched dragon egg and decide to keep it.   The party then starts their journey toward the Mere of Dead Men knowing that the Mere is the domain of the Black Dragon Voaraghamanthar, also known as the Black Death. But figuring they have all the time in the world the party agrees to take it slow, rest, eat, and go on a mini-vaction.   The party sleeps soundly each night knowing that Mondath and the Dragon Cult are totally going to leave them alone while they travel to one of the most dangerous regions on the Sword Coast.
