Session 7 Castle Naerytar Report

General Summary

Lilfern turns into a giant toad and scouts the front of the castle. Liltoad notices a camp of swamp folk out front. They seem pissed at the dragon cult that have over taken the castle.   Wilbo turns into a Lizard Folk and he and Hooves head into the camp to attempt and convince them to attack the castle. A lizard and a talking horse apparently are not verry charismatic. It fails miserably. Looks like we are on our own.   Liltoad goes Lilrat and climbs up to where an alarm bell sits. Using the same technique as before, she chews through the clacker and it thuds to the ground, no one be ringing that.   We begin to try and quietly work our way into the castle. Yoni moves into range and snipe 3 lookouts off the side tower. Wilbo (still as a lizard folk) attacks two guards bellow, killing one and wounding another. The surviving guard calls out 'the Bullywogs are attacking!' Guess stealth is over.   Hooves charges in and attacks a basilisk with Deo right behind him.   Marthas zombies move up and Lilbeard decides to chuck one like a spear at the basilisk and it works! The basilisk is surounded and goes down. The remaining kobolds go down without much of a fight.   The group moves into the next area and are rushed by another group of kobolds. Deo and Wilbo swing and miss like noobs. Martha goes nukelier with a fireball, 7 kobolds! Get SMOTE!   Deo crits a Nematoah and drops it like a sack of potatoes'.   Meanwhile the Bullywogs have joined the fight and are approaching us. Willo turns around and reminds them that we are on the same side.   Lilbear charges the remaining Nematoah and double crits it into next week. Few remaining Kobolds in the courtyard are cleaned up.   The team rolls into a section of the castle with cultists. Wilbo (as a cultist) sneak attacks them out of no where. The group dispatches them rather easily. After finishing them off Wilbo walks into the next room.   Dralmorrer Borngray is met. She asks to many questions and Wilbo has no patients, daggers fly!! Dralmorrer escapes and we finish off the remaining cultist....hmm maybe that was a mistake............nah!   The group moves into a church near by (a must for Deo). A portal is present but we do not know how to activate it. We need a password and we are uncertain how to get it. Deo heals up the group and we push on.   We move into the main pillar of the castle. We move up the to the second level, passing some ominous gargoyle statues. I'm sure they will be nothing.   On the third level we confront a red wizard of they. He unleashes a fireball and kicks our ass, ZOMBIES DOWN! A battle ensues but is short lived as Wilbo crits for 40! and the wizard begs for his life.   DM Finishes the session report because Wilbo just shit his pants as a black dragon shows up at the tower. The Black Dragon is demaning the party give the Red Wizard to the dragon. The Dragon claims the the Red Wizard was using magic to enslave him. The characters made a deal with the Red Wizard. They would spare his life if he got them through the portal. So they came up with a plan to get past the black dragon.   Lilifern is going to distract the dragon by having her summon creatures make a run at the dragon while the rest of the party makes a run with the wizard toward the portal. It had been a couple of days since the party last saw a dragon and so this average 8 Intellengence team forgot that Dragons have a 'frightful pressence'. Liliferns summoned creatures all became scared and ran away. Half the party was scared and couldn't move. The other half of the party made a run for the portal. Martha was firsth through the portal. "Good luck bitches".   Yoni who was one of the few braves ones who stayed behind to help all the scared fucks. Which at this point was only Lilifern who was legitametly crying. Yoni picked up lilfern and carried her since she was too scared to move on her own. The dragon used a 'legendary action' and knocked them prone. The party was like "what the fuck is a legendary action?".   Lilifern still scared but now past the dragon ran for the portal leaving Yoni on the ground by himself to face the dragon alone. For some strange reason Yoni shouts "Mom! Why are you leaving me!?". Yoni must have mom issues.   After a couple of rounds of the Dragon failing it's breath recharge the remaining party members hudle together in small group right in front of the portal. The Dragon sticks its head in the door. And all of a sudden this party of average 8 Intellegence realizes that huddling together when you fight a dragon is a bad idea.   The dragon rolls for his breath recharge. The DM is legitametly worried this would be a half total party kill? The Red Wizard already ran through the portal. Martha the only player with an intellegence higher than 10 was already through the portal. But all the meat heads were sweating. Lilifern was crying. Deo tried to sheild the party. Some serious nobal dumb ass Palidin shit. The dragon fails to roll a 5 or 6. No breath weapon. The heros run through the portal.   Now they find themselves in a cold tundra. The cold instantly freezes the piss in their pants.
