Session 35: The Pact is Reconfirmed Report

General Summary

12 Cupid to 13th of Cupid: The Shining Eclipse woke up on the morning of the 12th of Cupid ready to go to the surface. Four days with out any daylight was starting to wear on there nerves just a little.  As the companions were finishing up there packing and getting ready to depart they noticed a stir among the population of the dwarves. Then Lieutenant Malrom Rubble came to the inn that they were at to summon who was available to the armory the HQ of the dwarven shields. Once summon there they were introduced to a Male human by the name of Conan and a female half-orc by the name of Zardri. Who were in a prison cell together badly beaten, exhausted, and starving based on the evidence of the food trays on the ground both were sleeping. The companions began asking questions as to why there were chained to the there racks and why they have slave collars still on their necks. The dwarves stood there ground saying that the mine has strict rules and that if it were not for the torn sigil on their arms they would have probaley been killed in the mines. The safety of the village and the security of there mines were very sacred to the dwarves.  Lieutenant Rubble went to seek Duchess Flintstone and told the party they could questions the prisoners and attend to their medical needs. Several members continued to argue with the dwarves on the treatment of the prisoners while others attended to the medical needs of Conan and Zardri.  At first they could not speak. Zardri showed her anger and frustrations of the situations by her body language and grows. Meanwhile Conan attempted to strike Arceven as he attempted to investigate the collars to make sure that they were not trapped. He also started a ritual to determine if there was any magical effects on the collars which there was none.  It was determined that the slave collars were ones used by the hated drow. As the tension began to rise amongst the companions and the guards Lieutenant showed up to take the companions Duchess Flintstone. As the companions were taking to the HQ of the dwarven army Dimmir saw that the dwarves did have a map of the city and saw the location of the great horn that he so desperately seeking the night before. There a discussion between the duchess and the companions was carried on where the duchess once again emphasized the importance of the security of the mine and its clans that lived in the mine. Especially since they were found roaming in the underdark. The underdark where the drow live and dwell and cause mayhem for any that dare travel in that part of the underworld. The duchess agreed that the prisoner were to be released into there custody once they departed for the surface world. At the 10th hour as the Franchise K was beginning there decent back to the surface they were visited by Queen Fowina and the duchess once again.  Humble apologies by the duchess to the prisoners were given as the slave collars and shackles were removed. The two interns were given starting equipment and two medallion shaped coins made o f Mithril with the queens heads.  The party was instructed to protect these coins as it was there way to travel in the mines of Rock & Stone with out any problems. These medallion were to given back to the queen if anything should happen to them.  Then the party left and traveled back to the town of Odessus most of the party suffered a dramatic effect as they came out the secret entry as the bright sun caused temporary particle blindness as they adjusted back to the sunlight of the surface. On the surface in the cave they were met by Sophy who had two wagons to help transport there mithril. The party then headed back to Odesuss where they encountered a pack of wolves who was tracking them but some how Jasmal was able to sway the alfa not to attack if they left some rations for them. The party arrived in Odesuss at the 21st hour where a big party was being held. They were met by a crimsons guard with a plate full of food eating and drinking on the job. They were told that a celebration was on as a unknown party had saved the Baroness sister and found her long lost niece. The town of Odesuss was celebrating in true calishite fashion as the tables were filled with the traditional foods of Italy. A toast was given by the Duke of Soteropolis and the Baroness of Odesuss to the new adventure guild known as Acquisitions Incorporated for the finding and rescuing of clan members or family members.   The next day the party was taken to the Hacienda of the Alethia family where they were invited for a brunch with the leaders of each clan. There the baroness expressed how honored there were to have the Dovahkinn in there house once again. That each leader was here to say by there very words that the clans would still honor the pact made by the clans and King Uther Pendragon the IX 600 years ago. They were asked to stay one more night so that the 12 clans could celebrated in a private party with clans members only.
