Session 09: Acquisition of the Scale

General Summary

• Moving into the next room, the party encounters a Grave Shaman enacting a profane ritual. After dispatching the shaman and it's summoned zombies, the party moves towards the boss

• The party encounters a room of goblins and hobgoblins at leisure and attacks them. The big hobgoblin boss enters the fray and gives the party a straight up brawl. But they manage to dispatch him and his lackeys.

• They discover Splug imprisoned and he tells the party that after he failed at the Silver Rose Inn and was released by the dragonborn, the boss punished him and his other friends by locking them up and letting the Grave Shaman have their way with them.

• They search the boss's quarters and Captain Frederick discovered a secret door to a stash. Inside the party finds the Aeon Scale and, though Frederick is tempted to touch it, they get it into a pouch safely.
