Session IV: He who lurks Report

General Summary

Alt'Dorf was gone, but their companions had no time to mourn him. They continued down the dungeon in search for the place where the prisoners might be held.

They reached a secluded room that seemed safe to take a rest in. While resting, Styxx received an urgent message from the empress. She urged him to grasp his companions so that she could bring them back home. Styxx did as he was told and reached for his companions but some kind of magical interference occurred and he disappeared into thin air before the astonished look of his comrades.

Styxx found himself before the empress, who ordered him to run to the battlements to repel the ongoing siege.

Medan and Kiber, now alone with Jolyne, marched down the dungeon halls. They heard a noise coming from the depths of the dungeon and following it, they found a prison. There, there were two unconventional figures among the other prisoners. A ant-like beign donning peculiar black robes who would introduce himself as Genzaburo Nabitaro and an elf with burn marks covering his whole body who presented himself as Malaveth Cienoblanco. They gave this warriors their weapons back and with swift and precise sword strikes, they broke the wooden bars from the prison and set all the prisoners free.

Now free, the party with their new members, including two guard from Glase who were also trapped, fought the prison guards. One of them tried to escape and was followed by the party. Little did they know this man would lead them to their objective, a massive creature with tentacles protuding from their back, similar to that which they had seen drawn on the walls at the dungeon's entrance.

A difficult battle ensued, but with their abilities combined they fell the foul beast. After that, Malaveth saw out of the corner of his eyes a glint in the dark. He investigated this glow and found the place where the beast hoarded the trophies from the prey it fed on. He gathered it all and informed the party.

After walking around for a while they found an interior lake and a few boats which they used to row to safety.

Out of the dungeon, they decided to reach for Blossomborough to tell their story. They found a mob of people in distress surrounding the elder of the village as he gave a speech about the capture of the responsibles of the disappeareances.

They learnt that the bandits from the camp that led them to the dungeon had been captured and were beign judged for the disappeareances. They also learned that it had been a week since they entered the dungeon. Kestrel, the half-elf of Blossomborough, begged the party to prove Amadrya's innocence before the viceroy. The party called Jibril by mistake and she hesitantly took them to Glase where they rushed to palace and, after convincing the guards, found themselves before the sovereign.
