Session VI: Deals in the dark Report

General Summary

Our party of heroes faces an enormous threat, a beign ancient as time itself and powerful as it's passing who presented herself as Aurora Von Ataraxia Bloodfallen De Lioncourt II. She explained to the party how she was trapped in the cave were she lies by an old friend of her, Athanasia the witch, what she thought were ten years ago. By asking a few questions the party quickly notices that nearly two millennia have passed since she was trapped.

Aurora tests the party's worth by submitting them to her frightful presence. Only Kiber could resist it, getting Aurora's favour. She then proceeded to explain a quest she had for them. In order to get information about the whereabouts of their target they would need to bring a ring back to Aurora. This ring is custodied by a black dragon that lives at the Cravenman's peak named Noctyladon.

Promising to come back with the ring, the party leaves the cave and returns to the Cloudslicer. There, they explain their plight to the captain and ask for her to get them to the peak. The captain refuses to fly over the Explorer's Tomb and instead gives them an amulet of protection for their fight.

They begin their trek through the forest but are attacked by a few giant spiders. At night, Genzaburo hears conmotion near their encampment and checking it out finds an amalgam of vines and corpses with a young boy trapped by it. After saving him, the boy introduces himself as Silvius. He offers to help them on their way to the dragon's lair and they continue their journey.
