Session 5: Through the fire and the flames Report
General Summary
The party decided to explore the undead ruins they encountered on the way to the "fire door". Entering the charred village they found that no incorporeal beings were found during the day. The Party took this time to explore the leftovers of Torthil. On their way the party encountered Mituna Whistleshield , Lupé and 2 ashari on their way to the door. After what some would call a quick lunch, some would call a waste of over an hour of time, they parted ways. The party continueing to the ruins and Mituna Whistleshield going to the door. In the town the party found two things, a metal Elven doll made of metal wire and a large obsidian statue of Warren Drassig. After Taleb had some fun with practical joking, Barend decided it would best fit the floor and destroyed the statue. After searching the town for a bit longer they found nothing and returned to Mituna Whistleshield and his crew that were on their way to the door. Burtle found that his grandson and his party went closer to the door through the scar and thus the party followed. They found that some elemental energies were still very active in the scar after they were attacked by several fire elementals. When an elemental too big for the party to handle they fled into the woods, where they saw Rytor into their direction. He managed to take control of the elemental and send it away, after which he lead the party to the "flame door". On the door Taleb quickly found a few words of a message after which Lupé added the full message, it read in elven: "Where the parents of the first children stopped the ruiner's devastation, those gifted with the arcane build their fortification. While the Sun's strong light can be blinding, the moon's radiance will be shining." And that is where we left the party to find out in the next session.
