5/15 - Flint and Steal Report
General Summary
The group sees Flint and his men enter the Auction. They try to apprehend the group in order to track down Ethelda, who is meanwhile invisible and escapes the view or capture of Flint's men. The Queen orders Flint and his men to let Lex Temporum go as they did nothing wrong and Salathir royalty has no authority here. He reluctantly lets them go.
Lex Temporum head back to their house to find it ransacked, and Sarnath and Deora have been kidnapped, presumably by Flint's men. A strange girl outside the house, named Galira "Gliss" , saw who took them and knows where they went. Turns out her and some associates of hers have been tracking them. Her associates are:
Vedo, a mysterious man from Vaqoril, with some strange form of sword fighting, Echoes from other realities fight by his side.
Squishy, a Jungling and brutish barbarian. She is very strong and trusts and protects Gliss.
Gliss is a strange 12 year old girl who people seem to follow. She has saved their lives and proves resourceful, as Lex Temporum is now finding out. She is snarky and constantly makes fun of everyone, as well as makes up nicknames for almost everyone.
Gliss leads the group to one of the sewer entrances in the city. Inside the sewer tunnel there is an entrance to some tunnels beneath the city, which Flint has been using as a hideout. They quickly infiltrate the tunnels looking for their friends. They eliminate some of Flint's men, run into a recently deceased Wizard's lair filled with a Chimera and a Gelatinous Cube, which they quickly run away from. Eventually they find Sarnath and Deora locked up in some cages and free them. As they go to make their way back to the sewers, Flint and his men, along with many more are waiting for them back at the entrance, blocking their way.
However they notice a newly dug tunnel, made by some strange creature, and decide going that way would be more prudent for now, but not before Ethelda decides she should just give herself up. The group tells her that she shouldn't and they are with her, and they head down this mysterious tunnel that leads to who knows where...
