Session IV: It is now time to lick our wounds... Report

General Summary

Once the orc outpost had been dispatched, the party journeyed further. The passage split and we stuck to the right. The passage opened into a larger cavern with a tapestry hanging on the opposing wall. After some searching, one of the party was set upon by a lurking creature clinging to the ceiling. After a great struggle, hopelessness set in until... one of the party members summoned the will of their god to banish the creature from this plane, temporarily.

Hurrying from the chamber into the next area through the tapestry, three grand chests were found. Lightly, the party began to probe their depths. from the first two, treasures were revealed! The final, however, was more concerning. As our brother who has trained in the ways of the nimble finger attempted to remove the lock, the chest came alive and attempted to devour the party!

(Patrick) responded quickly and attempted to arrest the onslaught of the creature by wrestling it to the ground. He soon found himself stuck, adhered to the creature.

The party fled and (Patrick) is likely dead.

Of course, the party retained the treasure.
