Shuttered Souls - Session #2 Report
General Summary
Arriving at St Muldreds High School in Louisiana, and receives a less than detailed briefing from Friendly Jerry Sykes, school security.
Who believes that there is satanists involved in the two sudden deaths of school students in the last 3 days.
The first student Liam Harper was seemingly involved in a fatal hit and run incident. But after DB had a look over the coroners reports finds that
There is no reasonable causes for the extent of the injuries, especially with the utter lack of Associative evidence at the scene. The force required to inflict this kind of trauma would have left more physical evidence, and it is also questionable if the pressure required to inflict the trauma could be reproduced outside of a controlled environment.
The second death, seemingly unconnected at the time involved a apparent suicide by Self-immolation. The student was a recently transferred male by the name of Vance Parks
A search through both the deceased kids lockers revelse several old polaroid images in Liams locker. One of the images catches Clayton Roberts attention as the man depicted are a convicted serial killer from the 70's that blamed a polaroid camera for his crimes.
Cursed Cameras
Further more Vance's locker revealed to have several runes or sigils drawn upon it and on several of his text books.
Clayton also identifies these as protective runes.
Diverse Signs of Protection
After interrogating a kid named Lucas Martinez that were knew of the both victims they found out that they had been using a old polaroid camera to take each others pictures and Vance was convinced that the camera was involved in the death of Liam. Too convince Vance that wasn't the case Lucas and two other friends (Sophie Greene & Max Turner) took Lucas picture and then lit it on fire to prove nothing bad would happen. To everyone's surprise Lucas burst into flames and died horribly before their eyes.
The distraught Lucas and Sophie are escorted to the nurses station for further interrogation.
