Session 93 Report

General Summary

Swift's Log

I finally got the chance to catch up with Moon Planter, and though there was no fight I can't say I felt superb about the meeting. I still find it incredibly annoying that party members would feel so passionately towards Jinx after the fun we all had playing volleyball in the pool at Bellmare. He insists I'm being fooled and I insist otherwise. He insists this isnt the most safe place for Jinx and I feel otherwise. Ultimately it's not his call and I made that very clear. I was able to assist the captain of the airship in rigging the sales so that we could get more speed out of the wind and it seemed to work! Honestly it's felt really relaxing to work the ropes once again, unfortunately ship life hasn't been the stress free venture it's normally been and I say it's the fault of everypony. They all like to have fun, but they're unwilling to goof around with Jinx-- almost to a restrictive level of expecting her to do nothing on the ship while she herself needs to learn the balance of what is and isn't okay. It's hard to really say with a simple 'silence' spell but after Belle Hop had been poking around and investigating, ultimately finding Jinx had been sneaking around the ship (not to mention the runes on the lower deck), there was a bit of a stir when Ophie got silenced. Jinx is being jealous and immature, but the party should be a bit more understanding as well. I can't force anyone to do anything though. I feel stuck and like all I can do is hope there's some middleground found. Duk made the next approach, hugging Jinx to her dismay in an attempt to befriend the kirin. Traveling northwest from Thawhorn, we were accosted by a feral white dragon and three giant Rocs. Everypony had their hooves busy and Duk most of all, the poor lass was getting legitimately mauled by one of the birds. She called out for Jinx of all ponies, and Jinx came up from below the deck to provide some healing! I hope that had was caught by the rest...   At least one thing that was caught was Duk's valiant recovery and powerful and historic spell that felled the adult dragon! Duk, the Dragonslayer of all ponies! I couldn't help but laugh to myself as Moon Planter felt some disappointment, but we all enjoy letting the lass have her moments. Then, I had to admit I was incredibly surprised as Triple hastily ran off only to bring me a ship in a bottle, with the ship made of animated rope. It caught me off guard along with his apology. It felt genuine as was my acceptance and forgiveness. I thought that was a great gesture on his part.
