Session 1: The Meeting

General Summary

Master Luke Skywalker assembled the entire Jedi Academy to make them aware that Master Kyp Durron had left the order due to philosophical differences. After the speech, The Initiates and Master Dal Konur were called to Luke's office. There, he asked them to track down Kyp and make sure that he's ok, although he didn't know where he had gone.   While Rin explored the hangar bay and talked to some of the mechanics, Lem and Tomla spoke to several other members of the order, such as Jaina and Jacen Solo, Kam and Tionne Solusar, and others. They heard mention of the Ruins of Carida and its awful association with Kyp's past.   Master Konur led The Initiates to The Dark Templefor their first trial as Jedi padawans. They each had to face some dangerous part of their past: Rin faced his old smuggling buddy Rosk 5; Tomla was attacked by an Ithorian Ursmal; Lem had to face his Yuzzhan Vong captor, Onirra Tsonghh. While Tomla remained peaceful and relied on her Jedi training, Lem and Rin both eventually let their fear get the best of them, allowing the dark side to creep in.   After the trial, Master Konur listened to the padawans' leads on where Kyp might have gone, concluding that he must have headed to the Carida Memorial Station. The group then departed on one of the Academy ships, The Mynock's Wing, along with the droid companion S19-A1, aka Salty.
