Session 28: An Annual Revenge Report

General Summary

Recap:

1. It's been a year since the party had killed the Capran general Kel. The Capris Armada had eventually been pushed back until their main ship suddenly disappeared, and the war against Secrix progressed steadily in Northal's favor with the assistance of Lessou.
2. The party, gathered around their refurbished home, talked among each other about what action was best to take, weighing the benefits and drawbacks of siding with either the Highwater Union, the Bloodfire Compact, or creating their own side in the assimilation of Northal, Lessou, Secrix, and the Gobdom.
3. It was eventually decided that regardless of whichever path they're to take, they must first kill the Secran king, as even the Secran people are displeased with his rule, and it'd be easy to replace him with someone more favorable to Northal.
4. As the party came outside however, they began to seem the massive looming shadow of the massive Capris Armada, right over Northal Castle. Dozens of airships began to fly off of the gargantuan vessel, and the party decided that the only way to end the Armada would be to kill their leader, Admiral Ka'Ir.
5. Flying directly onboard with the assistance of Kane's newly acquired troops, the party came face to face with the Capran leader, as warfare raged below.
6. Little words were exchanged before the combat, where a few members of the party had close calls with death, and ultimately, one of Kane's closest friends, Gideon, was shattered; left to never find peace in the afterlife.
7. Gideon's death sent Kane into a frenzy, where he transformed into a bony lycanthrope, drenched in unending blood. It wasn't long after that the Capran general was slain, and his forced defeated.
8. With no idea how to properly pilot the main armada's ship, the party attempted to land the vessel on the waters outside of Northal Castle, nearly crashing the ship directly onto the city.
9. Melyre managed to barely steer it in the waters next to the Halcoast Manor, and now the party returns home to meet back with Eleonora, who'd been staunchly defending her store during the raid.
