Supporting Cast

Lady Akari Sakimori
Currently a party member, a petite samurai with a significant musical streak. Last member of Clan Sakimori, she technically holds the town of Azamo Bay. Wields a Wakizashi instead of a Katana due to her stature. The blade is called Sakura - there are cherry blossoms lacquered into the scabbard. A gift from her late brother, Lord Daisuke Sakimori.
Lady Chiyoko Adachi
A Shinto miko who found the party on Komoda Beach. Her family has suffered recent betrayal and so she is the last surviving member of Clan Adachi. Has a fox familiar named Aka who seems in tune with the kami. She is demure, soft spoken and loyal. She aids the party by tending their wounds with magic and healing arts. She can also perform the Purification Rituals necessary to cleanse corrupted Shrines. She's no slouch with a bow, either.
Lord Jin Sakai
Head and last surviving member of Clan Sakai. The nephew of Lord Shimura (jito of Tsushima), he has become the de facto jito with his uncle captured by the Mongols. The Party saved him from what should have been fatal wounds at Komoda Beach, and now act as his most trusted allies and advisors in the battle to free Tsushima. Their goal is to stop the invasion here, so that it never reaches greater Japan.
Lady Kaede Nagao
Last surviving member of Clan Nagao, she is currently holding the town of Hiyoshi Springs. She dueled and soundly defeated Kumo Toso. A skilled archer. Might be convinced to join the party in a more permanent capacity - at least until Tsushima is liberated.
Kenshin
The Party rescued him from Fort Nakayama. Once a stable boy employed at Castle Kaneda, he donned armor of a fallen Clan Shimura retainer and tried to escort some refugees to the Golden Temple. Now he is training to be a samurai in earnest.
Lord Shimura
The jito of the island and Lord Sakai’s uncle. He is currently a hostage of the invading Mongols and is being held at Castle Kaneda.
Megumi
A miko rescued from a trash-talking Cleric of Tengri during the Liberation of Azamo Bay. She has an obvious crush on the strapping Kumo Toso.
Ryuzo
The current leader of the Straw Hats. A childhood friend of Jin's. He has worked for Takeshi in the past as hired muscle. Is very protective of his men.
Sakura
A scarred girl from the brothel in the village of Sasuura, she is a witch and views Lord Jin Sakai as her savior and follows him wherever he goes. She has recently summoned a crow familiar, that she calls 'Arashi'.
Tomoe
A gifted archer and the last student of Sensei Ishikawa, Tomoe betrayed her people. She now fights for the Khan and is training Mongolians the Way of the Bow. She wears a kitsune mask and wields a nasty bow - which Chiyoko suspects might be a relic. She has been hunting the party, with the express intention of taking Lord Sakai alive and slaying the rest.
Yuna
An thief and an archer. Rather selfish and concerned only with her own immediate family, namely… her brother Taka
