Personal history

The first thing Orion remembers is falling off the side of a ship. Seeing his name carved into the side. Then the deep, all-consuming water. Not knowing where to swim. Feeling the darkness press into him. Forcing itself into his mouth and into his lungs.

It is something he has been trying to forget ever since. Instead, everything around it is forgotten, and that is the only thing left. The next thing he clearly remembers is meeting his siblings. All of them half-races. He was the oldest, then Kettle Bubble (Kenku), Relin Silverbell (Gnome), Morad (half-orc). Together, they were raised by their (except one) adoptive father, A gnome names Aldon Silverbell.

Their father loved them all, but he was gone for a long time throughout the year. Like most of the people living around the city, he was a privateer. Working with whatever ship wanted him and his unique skills. So when he was gone, and there was little money to live by, the siblings had to do something. Bubble first discovered an in with “Whispers of the Iron” – A thieves guild who worked across the trade routes and pirate ships of The Faraway Refuge. But soon, they were all involved.

It went from something Orion did to get paid to something that made him feel alive. Years later and they have their first real big job for the guild. It is a test to see if they can get into the iron ring. The inner clan of the guild. They have heard that there is something extraordinary in a ship called “The Astral Star”. They did not get to know what was on the ship. It was easy to get in there, but the vessel was seemingly empty. Except for one create sitting in the middle of the cargo deck. Inside was a small chest. Morad wanted to see what was inside. However, the second they opened it, an alarm went off, and the ship was suddenly full of people.

However, there was something seemingly wrong. It was like the shadows themselves was also after them. Orion was unsure how, but soon they had run separate ways, and he carried the thing. A long glass cylinder decorated with what looked like scars of gold. Inside there was seemingly water. Dark and shimmering of every colour he had ever seen. Somehow while he ran, he lost his footing. He fell, and the thing slipped in between his fingers. It spilt out onto his right hand and onto his face. He swears he could hear someone or something laugh. Out of relief, glee or even dark triumph he doesn’t know. And everything has been different since.

Gnasher's end - First session of The Lost Soul.

The day started with me waking up in Dez's house. It is a tall and shaky building on the outskirts of the city snd it seems like a strong wind could blow it over. However, apparently it has been standing there for a long time so it is not that shaky. Eat breakfast that Dez had made and talked to Remus about him finding some crew. Listened to Dez trying to explain time to Kahel. It did not work. Sol still wears his helmet.
Went to Falk's alcohol shop. It looks like a big broken teapot. Inside it is purple walls, pink furniture and red beams. Falk is a pink tiefling. Talked to him for a while. Plasent enough person, but seemed to belive I was dim just because I asked questions. I take offence to that.Thinking about going back and asking him for more rumors. Bougth some moonshine. When I got time I want to try to steep som herbs in it. Maybe make some kind of healing spirit.
He had two rimors for us:

Evil Erin's lover "Lil'Bill Warmoth" (son of Big Bill Warmoth) has disaperd in the woods. Apperently so have many other people. 50 gp to find out what is happening in the woods and 50gp to get Bill back.

Bounty on the former quartermaster of the Black Dove. Gasher. Has an artifact of some sort. Sat out to pulnder and kill people on the road rather than the sea (coward). The concoul themselves has said they will give 200 gp for his capture. He has a gang somewhere up my the fucking mountains.

To no ones surprise the group chose to go after him instead of going for something slightly easier. Kael ripped one of Falk's curtains and took a small pice of it.

Went to Misty Capes to buy some stuff from Anastasa. Got Kael's wood carving tools, a sleeping bag and enough food to last a while. I hate going around hungry. Better to stock up. Went to the docs to look at the board where the bounty was. Stole it so no one else could follow us. Got hunted down by som of Linn's thugs. Got into a fight with him. In the end he passed out and we hoggtied him and gave him the contract. But with all the details scratched out. We went onward to the montun.
On out way, late that night we met Col and Juggles (human and rat). He showed us a bad juggleing show and later left a silver føute for us which sounded like gold coins. Sol said he was magic and I find him creepy AF.

The night was fantastic.

When I woke Dez up for his shift it seemed like he did not remember who I was. It was strange. Sol still has his helmet on. After a few hours of walking again we came to where the people were hiding. Kael spied on them, Dez and Sol made a fantastic and dramatic distraction and in the end we fought. I had to use my power. I do not like it. They make me feel... invincable. But what did I pay to get that?
Gnasher got away, but we are hunting him down.
