Watery undead try to stop our mission.

Keeping secrets from each other is at best counter productive.

Moving on up to the deluxe apartment in Candlekeep.

Task Three : Gear up with the items that maximizes the ease of executing removing the Dragon Egg to Candlekeep. Something to keep the egg in, keep it safe, move without trace, be immune to scrying, and/or dragon proof the situation.

Task One : Understand the Dragon Egg to the point we can safely retrieve, move, take care of special needs, keep safe, and if possible administer healing to. Task Two : understand the area where the Dragon Egg is. Get two or three routes back to Candlekeep, a place to hide, know the good guys and bad guys in the area, and inobvious threats and hazards, ie volcanos, poisonous plants, etc. we may have to have a escape route via water, land, or pull into the mountains to avoid a threat.

Jarris is humming a song to himself and looking kinda in a reverie. Maybe lost in a pleasant daydream. He is loosely drawing up the definitions of success for his Egg Napping situation and maybe doodling in the margins of those papers.

I want to get a copy of the Cormyrian history.

I also want to look at any detailed histories of Cormyr.

Jarris wants a book about the modern Red Wizards of Thay. Handbook on constructing Homunculi and other small helpful constructs. Spell that will enhance your familiar. Spell that will let me make a magical shed construct. Lastly Jarris is looking into the ‘mirrored’ twin books to write on with someone.

I like this dimensional pocket but I don’t want to stay here. Me and Harool head through the magical dresser to Candlekeep.

Feel a little inferior to wizards who use magic to remake reality to their own needs. Trying to hide that feeling and blend in.

Jarris leaves two notes: One basically informing the lab that their cat Thyme fell to a Mimic that the cat inadvertently released. The second note informs the lab that me and Marro have borrowed their time book until such time as the crown is satisfied and will return it.

‘Magus Strike’ via Jarris for 17 pts damage to the Mimic.

Bread making is a huge topic of debate amongst our homunculi chefs.

Our hosts servants are very familiar with the guests and seem genuinely interested in hospitality.

Jarris is making note of the dinner table. The rules of etiquette are varied. Jarris is parking out what is rules that govern the place and trying to guess the origins of menu. See if he can figure out where the person who wrote it up came from.

We are in a magical mansion 2 minutes and the Barbarian is streaking through it.

Jarris and Boggstaff are just to the door and are staying clear of the cat.

Found the Iron Codex

Used two Knock Spells to open hidden passage door. Heat radiates from the Iron Codex. Alter with small human boy is by the Iron Codex on the end of the room. It is probably summoning help from the bad place. Marro uses magic to put the Iron Codex inside the birdcage and we exit the vault of the Band of Heroes.

Jarris rests, prepares his spells, interacts with Boggstaff, and uses Prestidigitation to clean up. Jarris makes notes about yesterday. We game plan going forward.

Jarris is preparing to use his KNOCK spell on the discovered secret door.

The Library water spout that enchants you to sleep seems to be a passive trap. We should be on our guard for others.

How long does the sleep water work?

I know the Iron Codex is going to be the size of a Dwarven Keg and made of Iron. Magma better have brought a dolly. We will tell him about Marro's Tensors Disc spell later.

Jarris is intent on finding the Iron Codex and returning it to Goodblood with the rest of the Dragon Scales. By doing this he has returned to his homeland and is potentially ending the volcanic threat to Cormyr. This threat seems to be of a ancient power that has been woke from a spell of dormancy to some end? Was it summoned, astrological inclination (the stars aligned to let it free), did the containing magic give way? Also how hard is the Codex to transport? Just curious but we must get it out of this catacombs some which a way.

Jarris is kinda homesick. Being on the road this long has wore on him. Marro is the best partner he could ever have asked for but the rest of the company seem like they could be better or less likely to be a evil that has to be addressed with magic and steel at some point in the near future. The Sunless Citadel was intense. I am thankful we were victorious.
