Personal history

Ryn was left abandoned in the wilds of Faerun for a reason she still doesn't know. She grew up living in nature and using her innate connection to the stars to forge a path forwards.
 
After years of dealing with predators and hunters out for her supposedly 'unique magic', Ryn was discovered by the clerics of the Golden Fields and brought in for protection. There she learned of the world, how to function in society and what it meant to rely on others. She became good friends with Haven during this time.
 
After a visit to Waterdeep and a chance encounter with a young priest of Selune, Ryn threw herself into devotion training as a priest and eventually became the temple's contact with the Golden Fields.
 
Following the disappearance of Haven, Ryn attempted to maintain contact with her widow only to fail after losing track of the girl.
 
She spent years attempting to search for her friend to no avail.
 
After the events of the One-Day War and the advent of Shar's Church, Ryn became disillusioned with her former patron and converted, becoming one of the dark ladies' first priests.

Ryn is in a word, solemn. She is quiet and reserved with a deep piety about her, but her seriousness does not interfere with her love of nature and the world she inhabits,
 
She is a very philosophical woman, the nightly trips to memories from her past lives filling her with wanderlust for the realm she hails from, and driving her to seek out answers to the mysteries of the cosmos.
