Second Childe of Cyrus

Ashar was Embraced for one purpose: War. The War for Chicago had just begun and Ashar had been in the Great War as part of the Ottoman Empire. He immigrated to New York, and later into Chicago during the first wave of arrivals. He was Embraced on Halloween, two days after arriving in the city. The only Chicago he knows is the one he fought to save.

After the war, he fought to find a place in the City. He did, after a fashion. He owns a stake as a silent partner in almost every gas station in Chicago, and has most of the independent taxi drivers in his pocket. Though part of the Invictus, he helps ferry Vampires between Cities as part of the Gallows Post. His official title is Master of Transport of the First Estate.
