Backstory

Born in the city of Mistcross, Orvyn and family lived a very middle class existence. Mr. Ningel was a very famous map maker, excelling in maps of superior quality and accuracy for many. After completing a normal education through the public school system of Mistcross, Orvyn decided to take up study at Melfore Academy, the well sought after magic school in Mistcross. Although an excellent student, Orvyn had a habbit of making trouble and being a drunkard, spending more nights drunk than not. Towards the end of his first year, Orvyn was threatend with expulsion for his behavior, and thus he decided to take a more serious approach to his education, more to spite his classmates then his own improvement.

A strange character he was, as in his second year, Orvyn decided to take up study of an unusual school of magic, necromancy. While many countries may frown upon it, Mistcross was an unusual city in that, as long as it wasn't being used for evil, necromancy was not outlawed. Unfortunately towards the end of Orvyns second year, tragedy struck Melfore. A group by the name of The Crystal Dragons had taken it upon themselves to "liberate" Melfore Academy of all it's magical tomes for reasons unknown. Fortunately for Orvyn, he happened to not be present for much of the destruction due to taking a night in town. Vowing to take revenge for his former classmates and school, Orvyn decided to take a journey to continue learning, and hoping that one day, his path may cross with that of The Crystal Dragons once more.
