Personal history

Cassia is the daughter of Titus Cicero Amulius, Emperor of the Western Elysian Empire. Titus asked the Empire Group to find his daughter, who he believed to have "gone missing," or possibly abducted. In truth, Cassia ran away of her own accord after hearing about the coup her father had led 20 years ago. Since Titus was a bastard son of the Emperor, the only way for him to take the throne was to slaughter the entire royal family--including his siblings as young as 4-5 years old. It is rumored that either he or his men also forced his half-brother, the Crown Prince, to kill his own wife and infant son. This news, combined with Cassia overhearing one of her father's meetings planning to go to war against the Fae, then mercilessly cutting down the Speculator who tried to speak out against such a thing, caused her to question everything she thought she knew about her supposedly kind, caring father.
 
Cassia's escape from the palace was the first time she had ever left its walls of "safety," as her father called it. After leaving, she decided to catch a cargo airship to Elysia. There, she spent days outside of the home of her favorite artist, begging her to take her in as an apprentice. She refused to budge until the woman, Rica Falco, finally accepted her. Cassia worked under her while disguised as a commoner girl named Leta/Leda until Doc and the rest of the Empire Group found her.
 
Currently, she is traveling with the Empire Group partially for her own protection, to escape her father, and to learn more about the world. She is still very stubborn when it comes to going along with Lucius's plans, as the two are childhood friends (with Lucius always picking on her), but she trusts Doc's opinion the most. Although she does her best to hide it, she is currently grieving what she considers the "loss" of her father. She has claimed he is dead to her, and she can no longer consider him family due to his true, hateful self.
 
Cassia loves to paint and carries a case of Marvelous Pigments on her, which are able to make certain things she paints become real.
