Born in the desserts of Sheyatsu of an unknown father Bayek fought his way from birth to adulthood to survive. In his younger years he was educate by his mother it the matters of life and knowledge. But this simple existence was soon to be brought to ruin by a gang of slavers who took them both mother and child. After such a turnaround of fate Bayek destiny laid in the balance. Due to his more bestial nature he was sent to the pits to battle in gladiator combat against most ferocious beasts. The life of a gladiator was harsh and cruel, but a small ray of hope was his mentor who assisted in his training and performance guiding him towards the mastery of the blade and his more bestial form. He was soon known as the master of the arena, a warrior without equal. The rulers of the pit , seeing his rapid development tried to impede him, but to not avail They were killed by a rebellion instigated by Bayek himself. With his newfound freedom and the mystery of her mother's whereabouts Bayek decided to venture into the unknown and as such he enrolled in a mercenary band.

His mother educated him well in her own way as she was one of the Great Scholars of the Ancient Fields and also by his great mentor Naziri.

Employed as the mercenary of one of the Royals of the Szent Theocracy, ever protecting their people with his mind and soul.
