Personal history

Roksana Calida was born to prominent figures within the Ashenvale fire genasi clan deep in the desert wilds.

Unfortunately, when she was quite young her parents were killed in a way the Ashenvale deemed dishonourable- away from their weapons and with knives in their backs after an attempt to evade conflict and negotiate with a warring clan of particularly savage water genasi.

As a result, after losing her claims to leadership within the clan, from a young age Roksana became quite reclusive, camping just outside of the village borders and attempting to rebuild her family honour by serving as the village huntress- interacting with others as little as possible outside of selling her wares to the markets every Sunday.

Against all odds, Roksana has managed to accrue quite the reputation for being a fierce warrior and extremely gifted Huntress. In fact, majority of her clan know her simply as “The Huntress”, and to be honest she prefers it that way, as it adds further distance from her family name and her parents disgrace.

The Ashenvale also have a famously longstanding rivalry with a nearby group of air genasi, as they were rumoured to have been present during the attempted peace treaty with the aforementioned water genasi attempting to conquer their lands. None feel this tension much more than Roksana, whose parents were the ambassadors killed during their betrayal at the summit.
