Personal history

Born in the kingdom of ?, he grew as a powerful noble there.
Once his father 'The Great Mountain Giant' passed his took his role as the Lord of the Mountains.
He ruled the land for about 100 years learning the ways of the tribes and people that lived in the Mountains.
He grew fond of a specific tribe of Kalashtar who he learned lots of knowledge of the astral and physical planes from.
On his Journey of Life he gained the title of Life Keeper. This Title would soon get the attention of the nobles of ?.
That attention caused them to seek his power of Life. They persued him to gain his knowledge.
With their continous haggaling and his continous rejections the Noble grew aggravated. Due to the peace of ? they threatened Xogrim's reign of the Mountains for his power was growing too powerful for the Kingdom.
He had no bad feelings towards the Empire and was willing to leave his land and move to the other continents, but the nobles were against this.
"What if he brings war here?" "His Power could threathen the whole land".
So instead they were to place Xogrim in jail until the Nobles could fully understand his powers.
As a final struggle he passed on his knowledge to the Kalashtar on his land hoping they would come to experiment more with his Power of Life.
But his arts were too advanced and couldnt be passed on with ease therefore he placed a Sigil on the race, He placed a blessing of life for the tribe to prosper without his rule of the Mountains hoping for them to surivive.
What he didn't tell the Kalashtar was that the sigil was more than a blessing. It was also a focus for his magic. While he may not be able to use his magic in this continent without alerting the mages, that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to in other places.

Education

He has noble education and teachings from his Father a renowned noble who controls the mountains.
His magic was taught to him by his Mother and he grew a hobbie of plants from her also.

Previous Lord of the Mountains.

Accomplishments & Achievements

After his fathers passing he grew the Mountains into a formidable economy. With his hobbie in agriculture he became one of the main distrubters of food to the Empire.
Created his own magical art.

Failures & Embarrassments

His entire reason for becoming the Life Keeper was to one day bring his parents and friends back to life. Being a Rock Gnome who lives for a significant time he grew tired of having to watch his friends grow old. But before he could achieve his lifes work he was emprisioned.

Mental Trauma

Having lost his entire kingdom that he worked tirelessly building, and being unable to continue his lifes work he is rather irrational and having been imprisioned in a small dark cell for a 100 years may have gone insane without having given the Kalashtar his Sigil.

Intellectual Characteristics

Having created an entire way of magic he is unsurprisingly rather bad at anything that doesn't require knowledge, or magic.

Morality & Philosophy

He grew loving nature, and having a fond wanting to make life infinite. His connection to life and nature has caused him to be rather crazy to people who don't know him but he is a very carring person. He holds no grudges to the Empire even after being imprisioned for a 100 years.

Motivation

His Motivation is to continue his research in Magic, and escape from prison but as long as he can pass on his knowledge he will be content.

Dislikes the loss of life, but he isnt to say a person who won't take the life of another if need be. Whether it be to protect himself or another.
 
He also dislikes dirtyness specifically on ones self. For it is insulting to what Mother Nature has given us.

He is very focused on research. Making him very unsocialble, and to some dislikeable.

Surprisingly even due to his research focused agenda he makes sure to keep up with himself, because he sees tainting what nature has given us as unruly and disrespectful to mother nature.

Very little social aptitude. While being the previous ruler of the Mountains he was only in title the ruler, his brother did most of the Kingly jobs, While Xogrim helped grow the Mountains.
