New Companions

I've met with some interesting individuals while checking the job board in town. There weren't many jobs to go around so we decided to form a travel party. It's unlikely to go very far, but for now we've taken a job hunting down a bandit camp.
Out party consists of me, Mary whose a religious sort, two rustbuckets, a woodsman, and a fiery lass.
Some of us acted as bait, and drew out the bandits, but they fled when they noticed the size of our party. We were able to track down their camp from where we spotted them.
The fight was over quickly, the bandits surrendered or were subdued after a brief scuffle. I received a head wound but quickly recovered.
They didn't have much in the way of funds and seemed poorly equipped.
However when we returned, Arkland had been destroyed by a great beast and we were unable to receive payment.
