A newly knighted member of the Order of the Secret Stone. Eddard is one of the eight fully knighted members of the order stationed at Seham Stronghold, along with ten squires that accompany them. At the age of fourteen, Eddard's potential caught the attention of a wandering knight of the Order of the Secret Stone. Impressed by the young boy's dedication and desire to preserve their empire's heritage, the knight offered to take him under his wing as a squire. Eddard eagerly accepted the opportunity, leaving his village behind to embark on a new path.
 
Eddard's hard work and devotion paid off when, at the age of twenty-one, he completed the arduous trials and tests required for knighthood. The Order recognized his unwavering commitment to their mission, and Eddard was knighted with great honor, becoming one of the youngest members of the Order to achieve such a feat. Despite his remarkable accomplishments and dedication to the Order of the Secret Stone, Eddard often feels like he falls short of the legendary knights he admired in his youth. This sense of inadequacy fuels his determination to prove himself, sometimes to the point of pushing himself beyond his limits.
