Ajanotta was born into a brass dragon's kobold protectorate, her parents having gone on their galivant, a journey funded by the dragon, in order to both learn, and return with more stories to share. They had not yet returned when it was Ajanotta's turn, as such, she does not know, nor even necessarily care, who her "official" parents are, having been raised communally. For her galivant, she opted to go to college, in order to learn and learn more stories, as well as be able to defend her home better. She studied Chronurgy, the school of manipulating both time and space. The first 2 years of her galivant was mostly spent learning fluent common, so that everything else may be easier.
