Personal history
Simetra is not one to talk often about her past, though it is rumoured that she was ones perhaps on the other side of the law. That may having lead to her unfortunate dead to begin with..
In her life as undead, Simetra initially struggled in finding her ways. Being used to the richdoms of Quel'thalas, her life as undead was quite a change. After years of initial wandering and struggling to find herself she fully accepted her fate and embraced the ways of the Forsaken. As a living she was quite a capable pyromancer, but lacked the emotional controll to fully be master over the flames.. in undead she found her calmth and patience, saying to have finally managed to controlled the flame.
It was during the Silithus campaign that Simetra would find herself among the men of the Queens Grasp. Enlisting herself to the Forsaken Expeditionary Force better known as the Hand of Agony. Within the following months she would grow in ranks, settling herself in Tarren Mill with the rest of the Hand. Learning to further grow her magical potential and joining on campaigns to the outskirts of Azeroth to aid the Horde war effort.
During this time she befriended herself with a undead Gilnean known as Godfrey van Duskblade. Though she hates to admit they are friends, Godfrey is one of the few people whom she would fully trust her afterlife on. Both having saved eachother in a variety of occassions and being the prime example of teamwork (in their eyes.. that is).
After having been for almost a full year with the Hand, the war of thorns begun.. This felt for her as the time that she had to prove herself, fully devoting her time to aid the Horde in the war effort and kill as many Alliance soldiers as she could. It was then that she was promoted to Specialist within the Hand. Having even begun to lead small missions for resources at points of interest at that time. Being quite satisfied with the outcome of the War of Thorns (having enjoyed seeing Teldrassil burn) she would return back to Tarren Mill with the rest of the Hand.
Several weeks later the Alliance march onto Lordearon would begin.. Though Simetra was not in Tarren Mill at that time.. But rather in the Undercity Library trying to find ways to undermine the Alliance march. It was when the Alliance had set foot into Silverpine that Simetra would fully join the battle. But it was, a lost cause. The Horde would lose Lordearon, Simetra however not carring much about the city itself.. She would rather worry about the safety of Quel'thalas. With the Undercity out of the way she thought it would only be a time of weeks before the Alliance would march onto her homeland, but so far she has been proven wrong.
She would continue to serve the Hand of Agony, whom had build a new base of operations in Northrend. Her magic proving to be an usefull asset in the fights against the Alliance. In the comming months and campaigns she would continue to further develop herself, even beginning to lead small groups of people at the command of Executor Darkblade. She would soon be promoted to Veteran This did not go unnoticed by the then Dreadmage Iztok Bartholomew.. Whom had been seeking for a replacement. Simetra being promoted to Elite several months later.
After the Hand returned to Orgrimmar after a campaign in Northrend, Iztok would seek Simetra out. Explaining to her that he had grown rather weak and unstable, wishing to return to his former task of being a librarian rather then a Dreadmage. Simetra hesitated, being uncertain if she would be ready to wear the mantle. Both Iztok and Godfrey confirming that she would be most suited for the role, she accepted. Raising to the rank of Dreadmage shortly after.
In the fourth war Simetra had to prove her skills. Not only as a guide to her people, but also as a tactician and commander. Which was not something Simetra was yet well versed in. She would quickly learn, be it from her comrades and the at the time Executor Jorrick Darkblade. After Windrunner's Betrayal Simetra believed in a different path, the path of diplomacy. Believing that diplomacy could buy the Forsaken enough time to restore their fallen kingdom, restoring bonds with the Horde and getting to know intelligence before any enemy force could strike.
Not long after Windrunner's betrayal, Executor Darkblade would dissapear. After which Simetra took it upon herself to lead the Hand of Agony so the unit would not become leaderless like the entirety of the Forsaken. The now Interim Executor, had much challenges up ahead for herself and her people..
Education
Trained in the High Elven city of Silvermoon, Simetra enjoyed an education in combat magics from a relative young age. Though not a golden child in terms of magic, Simetra found herself above average with fire magic which became her main focus over the years.
Even in undead she continued learning, not particularly on magic but more on diplomacy. Over the course of serving in the Forsaken military under the Dreadmage known as Bartholomew, Simetra learned to act as a diplomat.
