A boy was born to Mary of Nazareth and King Arthur of Avalon on Earth. She named her son Mordred. Mordred was raised with the Viking warriors and Pagan druids of his tribe and told from the start of his life the world before them was his. All of the people in the tribe called Mordred the One and true King of Avalon. Mordred never took to battle with the vikings, instead as a child he was fascinated by Nature, beasts, and the creations of the Gods. The Druids of the tibe took him in and taught him well. As he grew battle become more frequent. The war between the Vikings and Avalon was reaching it's Apex. King Arthur did not know of his Bastard son and the vikings kept him secret to use as the final weapon against Arthur. At the final stages of the war after Mordred had grown up, he was instructed to infiltrate Avalon and crumble it from the inside. Mordred would Join the Round Table and act a faithful servant until his time to usurp his father. Mordred was able to swear an Oath to King Arthur and join the table however this Oath was to upheld the safety of the kingdom and the safety of the one true king Arthur Pendragon. Merlin who was in presence of the oath noticed the potency of the supernatural bond between Arthur and Mordred and began to suspect that Mordred was Arthurs bastard. The Vikings began to get supoort throughout Avalon and for the first time since it's inception, Avalon was watching the sunset on it's empire. King Arthur knew his Kingdom needed strength so he looked for any myth or power that could help him. He already had his sword Excalibur which made him the best warrior in the world but it would not help him keep his subjects loyal. The prosperity of the Kingdom was at question and so King Arthur sent his Knights of the Round table on the quest for the Holy Grail. This would help Avalon win the war and keep it's prosperity for eternity. The Knights of the Roundtable set out for the grail and found it near Nazareth. Mordred knew of this and felt he had failed his tribe and family by not becoming King and allowing his father to gain so much power. In a desperate grab for power Mordred sought out Morgan le fay the witch his family had relied on for decades. After reuiniting with her he wanted her most powerful magic no matter the cost, he was going to go take the throne from his father. Morgan obliged and gave Mordred the Means to bring about Ragnarok. This would come at the price of everything but would ensure that Avalon fell and Mordred would be King. Mordred completed the ritual and summoned Ragnarok. The Sky turned red and the world set ablaze as the eyes of the gods looked down in judgement upon the world. Mordred heard Ragnarok speak. Mordred beseeched Ragnarok to take King Arthur's power away and leave him vulnerable at the cost he wanted the strength to be king. Ragnarok excepted and descended on castle camelot first. The battle between Merlin, King Arthur, and Ragnarok was a brief but epic bout that ended with Ragnarok posessing Arthurs sword Excalibur and Merlin using the bulk of his magical ability to temporarily rid Ragnarok from camelot but not before the damage was done. Mordred returned to Camelot to see the bodies of The knights of the round table and to face his father in a final battle for Avalon. As mordred approached the throne Ragnarok began to exact the toll and transformed Mordred into a monster capable of resisting Merlins defenses. Mordred grew feathers and a beak and took the form of a crow. As Ragnarok ended the rest of the world, Camelot was spared thanks to Merlin. Now Arthur would have to face his son, without his sword and without merlins help. Arthur looked the Crow monster in the eyes and felt his son. Merlin had told Arthur of his suspicions after they left for the grail. Now that Arthur had the grail he gave it to his son and apoloigized for the war he started. He asked for peace and that with the oath he took he made sure to restore what he had done. After Arthur said his peace, the hate in Mordreds heart was lost for a moment. Arthur asked Merlin to use the last of the magic to put himself, Merlin and the Grail all inside of Mordreds Soul, The truest part of him uncorrupted by Ragnaroks curse. With that Arthur, merlin, and the Holy Grail disappeared inside Mordred and camelot was all that remained in Ragnaroks ruin. Mordreds final words were an apology to midguard and an oath to redeem himself.
