An immortal water nymph of the Feywild transformed into a mortal predatory hag by the spreading corruption of the Shademurk.

Not long ago, Anahita was a beautiful and carefree water nymph who lived in the Feywild near to the Brambletree. But as the gloom of The Shademurk spread and the verdant forest became a swamp of viscous black ichor, Anahita found her ageless body growing old, and soon she was a decrepit hag, her buoyant heart turned dark and heavy, and her mind preoccupied with fear for her approaching death.
 
She magically disguises herself to appear as her true, original form, and preys upon any who stray into her home, but more than anything she yearns to be restored as a nymph, and for the Feywild to recover from this oozing blight that spreads unstoppably from the Ichor Tree.
