Morgoth is known as the Lord of the Underdark; a tyrant both in that plane and the Material. He was thought to have been defeated by Smithe Aludin 400 years ago during the Battle of Radiance, but after the destruction of Fyredel, it is clear his death was not permanent. Since his return, more dragons have been revived and have been in blind servitude to him.
