Yesterday was a very interesting day for me. I have been through some trying times, but I think yesterday may have been the second hardest day in my life. The hardest was learning I could not access magic like the rest of my family, but I learned how to harness my own magic. So it began when we went to look for a dewbreaker named Xaden Riorson. a little halfling of a man. His wife Vi, was distraught over his disappearance. As I somewhat knew the family, being from Dewbreak myself, I felt obligated to go find him. As we trekked through the woods, we came upon some halfling ruffians from Dewbreak. I tried to be diplomatic, hell I tried to reason with them, but they attacked us so we defended ourselves. I can't thank my trainer enough for giving me that javelin of lightning and wand of magic missiles. That javelin was a major boon to our fight with them. We found a map on one of them to a set of caves nearby. That is when we continued our search for the "Yeren". When we finally reached the Yeren's cave after searching several others, I pulled back what essentially was his bedroom door. Understand that I am not writing this in my handwriting BECAUSE MY WRITING ARM CURRENTLY RESIDES IN MY BAG OF HOLDING!!!! Yes, it turns out Xaden was the Yeren as I suspected and after Brittlehorn and I struck the Yeren with heavy blows, he came up behind me, ripped off my arm, and smacked me with it. I struggled with ALL of my might to resist but to no avail. Thank you Mason for this magical arm, but I need to find a more permanent replacement. After Xaden gave up and I was able to test my new shield arm, we made it to Varish in Zamova to decurse Xaden and brought him back to his lovely wife, Vi. I pray that they can find a way to move past this and raise their new bun well. I hope Xaden has learned not to touch any items he doesn't understand again. Who knows what may happen to the next person? So I believe I may be headed to Isondale to find out if I can get a permanent replacement for this prosthetic arm. I must admit, while it may not be actually me, it is becoming a part of me. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my actual arm yet.
