Appearance
Physical Description
Saida is a fairly physically fit elf, but isn't very strong. The majority of her digs have required her to do just as much exploring outdoors as it did reading. Saida is very agile having to climb in and out of dungeons and ruins. Her physique is defined by stronger legs and core than upper body from all of her jumping around and dancing since her youth growing up in the Feywild. She has a fairly average constitution, able to hike to most of her digs without major assistance or excessive breaks.
Body Features
As an eladrin, Saida is very connected to the seasons. Growing up she stayed fairly close to the spring forests and has not experienced much of the other seasons.
Currently in her summer form in the material plane, her body has changed to have a reddish purple skin tone. Her hair has also changed to be the colors of a summer sunset. In her autumn form, when it comes, she has pumpkin orange skin and her hair is the deep auburn reminiscent of fallen leaves.
Facial Features
Saida has classically long, tipped ears as an elf. A fey look to her face is completed with high cheekbones, angled eyebrows, and a slightly upturned nose. Saida's cheeks seem to be perpetually sunkissed and covered in freckles.
The freckles are golden in her summer form and transition to chocolate brown when autumn comes around. Her eyes are a deep golden reminiscent of wheat fields during summer. In autumn, Saida's eyes change to to a warm mottled brown.
Identifying Characteristics
Saida has a tattoo band around her left bicep of a forest reminiscent of the one she grew up in. As in the spring forest, there are tall spaced out trees with branches stretching towards each other. Blips of light with faint pastel multi-color glow float about as the flitterflies do at home. Flowers litter the forest floor and up tree trunks. Leaves and flower petals occasionally float down to the ground. If carefully examined, the flash of a deer can be seen moving and hiding amongst the trees. The form of the deer changes at random intervals, at times being a white stag, a golden doe, or a mossy green fawn.
Physical quirks
The coloration of Saida's body changes as the season she is connected to changes. When the change occurs, it begins with her extremities at the tip of her nose, fingers, and toes. It will usually slowly begin to grow across her body until one night when she's sleeping, the change will fully complete.
Apparel & Accessories
Saida's typical outfit consists of a cardigan, a wrap top, salvar pants, and boots. Her cardigan is something she rarely takes off, especially considering she has personally put in several pockets and pouches to put any little treasures she finds in. Saida always keeps a journal in her right breast inner pocket of her cardigan. It is black with a grey-scale ombre collar and white interior. Underneath her cardigan, Saida will usually wear one of her many colorful fabrics as a wrap top. Saida's salvar pants are typically grey-scale linen billowy pants that cinch at the ankles. There are large slits in some for warm weather. Saida's boots are clearly well-loved leather boots that have seen plenty of travel.
Saida also has a couple items that she always keeps on her to keep memories from her past digs. There is always a child's size brass ring that never tarnishes on her left pinkie. She also wears an ornate chain belt to attach her small decorated hooded lantern to her hip.
Specialized Equipment
Saida's bo staff is rather unique on the material plane because it is made with fey wood. Its green wood is a true green rather than what is seen in young green trees on the material plane. Saida keeps a brown leather strap on it to sling across her back and a rainbow ribbon is tied to the strap.
Special abilities
As part of her eladrin ancestry, Saida has the ability to fey step a limited number of times per day. More powerful eladrin, such as her mother, have additional effects to this ability, but Saida is not yet connected enough with herself and the magic of the world for this.
Mentality
Morality & Philosophy
Saida's primary philosophy in life has been heavily influenced by the tale of the lost city she has been obsessed with since she was a child. The idea of such an amazing piece of history being lost and in extreme danger of being forgotten fills her with dread. She now values preservation, believing that all the successes and mistakes of civilizations should be remembered. This philosophy permeates her everyday routine, encouraging her to keep a journal of all the important feeling happenings around her. Saida holds onto this journal at all times and whenever she witnesses an act of society that makes her feel a strong emotion, she documents it in an attempt to preserve the humanity and life she sees around her for future generations to find.
Saida's mother also instilled a related ideal in her; curiosity. Everly encouraged her daughter to search for answers to her questions, be it ask questions, find a library, or go find it herself. She always said "the journey of finding the answer can be just as illuminating as the answer itself" and Saida has taken this advice with her for her entire life.
Known Languages
Saida grew up speaking Sylvan as her primary language in the Feywild. During her education, she learned Elvish to be able to better understand eladrin history and Common to prepare for her adventuring into the material plane.

Ideals
Preservation. All cultures deserve to to remembered both for their accomplishments and their mistakes.
Dignity. The dead and their belongings deserve to be treated with respect.
Bonds
Saida's most impactful bond in her life is the story of the lost city she was told by Iranon the Dreamer Bard as a child. It has motivated her academic path of becoming an archeologist and to go to the material plane on a search.
Saida's mother is also a very important influence in her life who has motivated her. Everly encouraged her curiousity. She wanted Saida to learn by doing whenever possible and would help her come up with new ways to learn and answer her questions.

Contacts & Relations
Despite not seeing him since she was a young child, Iranon the Dreamer has been Saida's idol for nearly as long as she could remember. His stories have shaped her entire life trajectory, and despite her fears that he may be long gone from this world, Saida hopes deep in her soul that she may meet him again some day.
Wealth & Financial state
Saida grew up rather well taken care of financially seeing as both her parents were in service to the archfey lord in the Spring Forests. In addition to the typical care taken for the protectors of the realm, additional special care was taken of Saida and her mother after the death of her father. Their nice home was located near the estate of the Spring Lord. They also never lacked necessities and rarely wants.
Family Ties
As the only child of a single mother, Saida grew up very close to her mom. Saida's mother, Everly Belus, is a ranger for the Spring Forest's archfey lord. She is typically responsible for patrolling the outskirts of the lord's land and would sometimes take Saida on these trips once she gained her passion for archeology to try to find things in the forest. Saida's father, Zelon Belus, was also in the employ of the archfey lord as part of the paladin protection detail. He was killed in the line of duty during a conflict with the Autumn Fields when Saida was very young. Because of this tragedy, Everly kept Saida very close and encouraged her to follow her passion for finding the lost city she dreamt of. Everly thought this would involve more time in a library and not that her daughter would revel in exploring dungeons and thought the profession would be safer than her parents' paths. She now lives in constant anxiety that something horrible will happen to Saida, but still tries to encourage her to adventure and find what she is looking for.
Religious Views
Growing up in the Feywild and being taught by her mom instilled a strong sense of spirituality in Saida along with a intuitive connection with herself and the world around her. While she does not actively worship, Saida will at times turn to the deity of spring when divine intervention seems to be of aid.
Social Aptitude
Despite her upbringing, Saida did not gain the fey charm or tendency for trickery associated with creatures from the Feywild. She has a habit of accidently rubbing others the wrong way. Saida is fairly good at reading people which can be helpful in her understanding of others. However, she will very bluntly tell others what she sees in them and is not the most knowledgeable about social customs in the material plane. This does not always serve her well in making friends.
