Appearance

Physical Description

Castor is rather tall. She has a scar on her mouth and a crooked nose (clearly her nose got broken in the past). Her eyes are blue and she always looks a bit like she is frowning. Castor usually keeps her brown hair in a braid that ends shortly above her knees. She prefers heavy armour. It might not be good for sneaking around but then again you don’t sneak around much on a battlefield anyway.

Physical quirks

Cas has a lot of scars. A very big and prominent one is on her hip. On days when the weather is bad, she feels ghost pains there.

Castor likes to wear red because blood and dirt are not as noticeable on them. She wears a blue earring on her left ear.

Mentality

Personal history

Born three minutes before her twin brother Pollux, Castor grew up in a military family in Vacraín. With a mother holding a high rank within the army and a Military advisor as father, war is the only thing the siblings ever knew. They received a fairly good education and were expected to join the army at the age of 15, where they received thorough training until they were 17. They were content as long as they were together, never doubting their path in life.
Only recently Castor had to realise how cruel war really is. She returned home from a battle heavily wounded- without her beloved brother. His death has changed Castor. She feels lost without his support and guidance as the twins always relied on each other. She started to question all she learned- Is violence the only solution?
 
Not sure of her path anymore, she decided to switch divisions from artillery to healer’s and learn to protect instead of hurt. However, a letter summoning her to the Island of Ostria has cut her new apprenticeship short.

Castor is employed by the Vacraínian army. She holds the rank of 1. Lt.

Accomplishments & Achievements

• She set Abraham’s shoulder after he dislocated it when he tried to open a coffin. It was her first time doing that and it seemed to hurt a bit (he deserved that, she thinks)- it was hilarious


• Got turned to stone by a Medusa

• Her inexperience and recklessness led to her unit being attacked.

Mental Trauma

• Castor blames herself for the attack and the death of her brother, which also resulted in extreme survivor's guilt.

Intellectual Characteristics

Brash and direct, Castor often says what she thinks without reflecting beforehand. She often regrets that immediately afterwards. It makes her seem as if she is not the smartest tool in the shed, but she is actually not that stupid. Although she is not a book person, she is curious and wants to learn. Until recently she did not understand how magic works.
