Rose met Morgane, a ranger of the small town. The pair fell in love and settled down to have Yong, however things were not meant to be happy for this rabbit family, and Rose grew sick and eventually died from a disease none of the fey folk could recognize. Morgane feared that this disease might affect her son, so she planned an exploration to find answers. Yong was handed off to family friends to be watched over till she returned, however she left plans for Yong to go to Rose's monestary should she die on her journary. Years passed and Morgane never returned and so Yong was handed over to the monks. Yong struggled with tetentiments despite how paintent his mentor, Araiver, an autumn Eladrin, was with him. Araiver worried for ver student and so introduced him to Jada, a forest phase spider that can speak and is librarian. Jada was the only being Yong fully listened to at the monestary and she became like his aunt; she was the only being he gave a face to face goodbye to before he fled the monestary. Yong slipped away in the night and while attempting to get away from the monestary fell through a portal to the mortal realm and he settled down as a hermit in the woods outside a small human town. He tended to a small garden which he got the seeds from humans who seeked out his home and who he taught the lessons from the monestary in change for the seeds. Eventually Yong heard of the Emerald Encave and how they were investigating the portals between realms and set out to join them and find a way back to the feywilds.
