He is a relatively shy person but can be incredibly talkative when he wants to be. Poor family conditions led to be a bit insecure about what others think of him, yet he finds that his passion for music plays a big role in subsiding his anxieties.
His name is Tomas, who is a skilled musician and a missionary for his faith.

Tomas was born in a big town but moved to Amn at a young age where he spent all of his life. Being brought up in the church as his parents were missionaries, he had a love and passion for worship, something that he found so beautiful, the very thought of it makes him energetic to profess the love of his faith to the world. At the age of 10, he was given a guitar as a gift and played it for years. He suddenly found himself obsessed with music and combined with worshiping God, it enhanced his faith to a whole new level. Music, he discovered, was his passion, and not a day went by where he couldn't listen, learn or play some form of music. His talents developed greatly over time, and during his 13th birthday party, he played a traditional song for his family, which caught the eye of all partygoers and, to Tomas's surprise, strangers who heard him play for the first time. This brought so much joy to his heart that he began to help out his family by performing out in the streets, to which everyone in his neighborhood enjoyed. Seeing the joy that came out of his guitar playing, gave Tomas purpose, and he felt a wave of inner peace and bliss.
Soon, he began to delve into other branches of music, some that would not have been accepted by his religious family. Upon realizing this, Tomas felt conflicted within himself as he knew what was good and expected from him, but his love for worldly objects such as certain genres of music tore him apart. This, in combination with a short temper - which combated his helpful and generous personality -, made him almost unreasonable and unapproachable at times during fits of anger and frustration. This would usually be due to his jealousy of others, which would make Tomas angered at the fact that he didn't think he was as good as everyone else or perfect like his God. After said fits of anger, Tomas would be left distraught, feeling horrible inside at the memory of the things he would do that he wouldn't have done anywhere else.
Many years went by and Tomas was respected by his friends and family due to his success as a musician, but he felt the urge to get out of the town he lived in and explore. One day, after coming home from a gig, his parents greeted him and announced that he would be involved in the same missionary organization that they were in and would travel the world as a said missionary to proclaim their love of God and their faith to others in the North. Tomas, at first, was shocked, but he knew that it was something that his parents wanted him to do, and he felt a strange calling to this job. Two weeks later, with his guitar and traveling belonging with him, he headed north, to a new land to show others how he loved God, and to a certain extent, music.
