Session 0/1 - Talk with Mia
At the end of the first day, Missed stays mostly in her new room playing with the wand she was assigned and the wand that Zeke gave her. She talks to Mia her pet mouse. "Well Mia. This is a fine mess we have gotten ourselves into. A real bed and I can just step out that door and get us food. With all of these fancy walls and magic, they could help those in High Walls or Lower Dura live better lives. Damn people, I say." She finally decides to make the walls a soft grassy green with a little star shaped window that you can just see a night sky scene. If you know your constellations, you'd recognize this must be a view if you were in the Mournlands. The floor is a dark oak with a sweet little rug that looks like a rainbow. She has changed the bedding to have a pattern of little suns, moons, stars and rainbows.. almost like that of a child. She carries Mia over to the bed, curls up sitting cross-legged and places her mouse in her lap softly petting her, "Their nice, I suppose. That Zeke boy is a bit too friendly, but seems harmless." Missed chuckles, "Those are the ones you have to keep an eye on." She stares out the little window, "The girl is alright. Not sure how she is going to do in the wild. Very... indoorsy." Missed picks up Mia and looks her in the eyes, "And that short one is clueless. Truly clueless. Let us hope he can use a sword well because I think he has rocks in his head." She noses the mouse and sets her back down, "Not sure about the dwarf. Sorta shifty eyed... but those are the ones that I can trust.... to be bastards."
Missed gets up and puts Mia back in her little home making sure to put a goodberry in for her, "Eat up. Doctor's orders. She is a nice lady... Doc is." She goes to her door, makes sure it is locked and then pulls out another lock, "Dad, you would be ashamed of the locks this place has. No real style... but Mom... the walls are interesting and well built. I think you'd approve." Her bright green eyes glimmer when they well up with some tears, "But the rest I get tonight will bring hope for home tomorrow. " She sets up a little string and bell alarm on the door before she crawls into bed, clothes and all and wraps her arms around the pillow she has shaped into a dragon plush as she drifts off to sleep.
