Quiet, awkward, unassuming, self-defeating

At a glance, Halt is very handsome by Dismantler standards: he has a dark frame and a pair of long crests. But his eye is blue, and a band of colour accents both his crests, a dead giveaway that he's a hybrid.
 
The product of the taboo union between a Dismantler and a foreigner, Halt has learned to keep to himself to avoid drawing even more attention. He is quiet and slightly nervous, and awkward around others. He tries his best to be unassuming, and is a bit of a defeatist and won't stand up for himself. Halt strives to be kind to others, even if they aren't to him.
 
Halt frequently uses dark humour and sarcasm to ease his suffering, and sometimes is rather dry and deadpan. He finds it hard to trust others and their intentions.
