Kieran is a clone and also an experiment that broke free from his lab leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.

Kieran was originally created in a government facility, the same facility that tried to have Cyrus killed/captured, being treated poorly and seen as non-human by the scientists Kieran developed a hatred for humanity and broke free from the facility at the same time Cyrus was attacking the facility, they both met each other covered in blood that wasn't theirs, Cyrus smiled and Kieran grinned and they both agreed to take the facility and society as a whole down together.
